OpenForge Stone Dungeon Edge Corridor
pinshape
OpenForge is a collection of dungeon edge corridor tiles designed to seamlessly integrate with Dwarven Forge dungeon tiles. These tiles are crafted to align their walls perfectly with adjacent tiles, making them ideal for use at the map's edge or in areas where space is limited, particularly in 1x hallways where fitting minis would be impossible without relocating walls. To ensure proper tile layout, some areas may require the use of edge buffers. You can find these sets on GitHub, categorized into several series: Smooth Tile Series: These tiles feature a smooth finish and can be used to represent various terrain types, such as concrete, dirt, or ice. Smooth Edge Tile Series: Similar to the Smooth Tile Series, but designed specifically for edges. Stone Tile Series: A collection of stone tiles with varying textures. Stone Edge Tile Series: Stone edge tiles that complement the Stone Tile Series. Crenelated Tile Series: Tiles featuring crenellations, perfect for creating a medieval or fortressed look. Crenelated Edge Tile Series: Crenelated edge tiles that match the Crenelated Tile Series. Tudor Tile Series: Tudor-style tiles with ornate details. Tudor Edge Tile Series: Tudor edge tiles designed to complement the Tudor Tile Series. Ruined Series: Ruined stone walls for adding a touch of decay and neglect. Accessories: Pillars, arches, and other decorative elements to enhance your terrain. Non-Series Tiles: Miscellaneous tiles, such as the pool, that don't fit into any specific series. Module Specific Tiles: Tiles designed specifically for use in particular modules. Changelog 9/12/2014 - Mesh problems in all models were resolved. Painting Instructions: The painting process consisted of 5 layers: 1. Paint the entire piece black. 2. Apply a dark grey using heavy dry brushing. 3. Select one additional color, likely stone, and paint random stones on both sides. 4. Dry brush with a mixture of grey and olive for added texture. 5. Finish with light grey, focusing on edges with gentle dry brushing.
