OpenForge Ruined diagonal tiles are designed to be compatible with Dwarven Forge dungeon tiles. These tiles come in high, low and high to low varieties, allowing you to create ruins of varying heights. Generally, low edges look best next to other low edges and high edges look best next to other high edges. High edges also make good transitions to tiles from the stone series. This set is only 2x2 tiles. If you need other sizes, let me know and I'll release more compatible sets. Compatible tiles/walls in this series are tagged with OpenForge. You can find this set on github. Module Specific Tiles - Tiles designed for specific modules. Painting Painting was done in 4 layers. Paint whole piece in black to create a base coat. Heavily dry brush with a dark grey to add shading and depth. Pick at least one other color (such as stone) and paint some random stones, both front and back. Dry brush with grey mixed with a little olive to add subtle texture. Lightly dry brush with a light grey, focusing most heavily on edges to create a sense of realism. Foliage The vines are created by painting watered-down PVA (white/Elmer's) glue in the creases and using green flocking for railroad models.
