OpenForge - Modular Sea Cliff Walls

OpenForge - Modular Sea Cliff Walls

I'm currently running an aquatic/nautical/coastal/jungle Kickstarter, Depths of Savage Atoll, and thought it was the perfect time to create and release an idea I've had in my head for a while. This OpenForge release is "Sea Cliffs". These are large pieces (just over 7" tall) that connect with OpenLock clips to form a vertical sea cliff, worn down by waves over time to show layers of cliffs below. There are 4 straight wall variant pieces, an inside bend, an outside bend, and a big "skull cave" entrance you can sail into! These are perfect for a wargaming diorama/table, an epic nautical encounter with a baddie in front of his cave lair, and more! These print easily and (relatively) quickly for their size - I hollowed the back for faster printing and less filament usage. A straight wall piece @ .28mm took me ~4 hours. No supports are needed, and minimal infill can be used (10-12%). I printed these in black, hit with a gray primer then a lighter gray dry brush. Added some mossy effect with 2 shades of green on the ledges, then some tufts of forest grass. PLEASE NOTE: The other pieces in the pics (sea stacks/columns, rowboat, dragon turtle, sailor) are models from my Kickstarter, and were included to spice up the scene in the picture, but are not part of this OpenForge release. This release is for the cliff wall system only. For instructions on how to get started with OpenForge, take a look at our tutorials. OpenForge is a patron supported project, and the resources that patrons provide allow us to create more sophisticated tiles and models with a greater level of detail. We would truly appreciate your support to deliver an ongoing stream of awesome gaming terrain.
