Openforge Dungeon Door
thingiverse
This is my very first 3D model, designed from scratch with a passion for innovation. Inspired by the incredible OpenForge set created by Devon Jones (https://www.thingiverse.com/devonjones/designs), I aimed to craft a design that perfectly complements his system. Specifically, I drew inspiration from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1722459, but found myself dissatisfied with the rectangular dungeon type doors available in his set. The only option was to use the same tudor door, which simply didn't meet my expectations. To create something truly unique, I turned to tinkercad and crafted a design that captures the essence of a dungeon door. Simply attach a paperclip as a hinge, and get ready for an authentic medieval look. A painted version is coming soon, and I'll be sure to share pictures once it's complete. In the meantime, feel free to try printing this model using Amazon PLA at 210 degrees with a heated build plate set to 60 degrees at .1mm resolution - you won't need any supports! I'm eager to hear your thoughts on this design, and I hope to have more innovative creations coming soon. Visit my website at http://www.titanARTillery.com for updates on new designs and projects.
