This is an OpenLOCK E (2x2) floor tile designed to power up other tiles via its four OpenLOCK ports. Pair it with the powered OpenLOCK clips to energize your terrain creations like the torch wall. You can find out more about OpenForge and Masterwork Tools on: Online catalog and backer site Website Forums (We've shifted our focus to Facebook) Twitter Facebook **Instructions** **Supplies Needed** All 3 printed parts Super Glue Aluminum foil strip, 3 inches wide Hobby knife or wire cutters for trimming the aluminum foil to desired length CR2032 battery (Refer to the torch wall for recommended sources) **Important Note**: Test your connections with an LED at every step to ensure they're working properly. You'll be extremely disappointed if you glue on the top and find out later that it stopped functioning due to a missed test. **Parts Assembly** Fold the aluminum foil along its length until it's less than 5mm wide. Cut lengths of approximately 2 inches from the folded aluminum strip. Create a contact by folding the aluminum around part 3 in one of the divets, and then glue part 3 into part 1. Insert the battery with the writing side facing up. Fold the top contact roughly like this. Glue the top down, securing the battery inside. Be mindful not to waste it, as they should last for approximately 20-30 hours. Once assembled, prime and paint your creation.
