Paint the entire piece with a solid black coat. 2. Apply a heavy dry brush with dark grey, accentuating details and texture. 3. Select a secondary color (stone) and paint random stones on both the front and back of the tile. 4. Dry brush with a mixture of grey and olive, adding depth and dimension. 5. Finish by lightly dry brushing with light grey, focusing on edges for a seamless look. Foliage Techniques ------------------- To create realistic vines, mix watered-down PVA glue (white or Elmers) with green flocking commonly used in railroad modeling. Apply this mixture to the creases and details of the tiles, allowing the glue to set before adding additional foliage as desired.
