Painting Instructions Painting was completed in five distinct layers. First layer: Paint entire piece with black paint. Second layer: Heavily dry brush with dark grey to add depth. Third layer: Pick one color and paint random stones on front and back of each tile, including at least one that resembles stone. Fourth layer: Dry brush with a mixture of grey and olive paint for added texture. Fifth layer: Lightly dry brush with light grey, focusing most heavily on edges.
