Work in progress...\r\n\r\nWhen I'm creating terrain, I like to mix and match various scenery elements to suit my style. One system that really impresses me is the OpenForge magnet system - its clips are incredibly versatile and can be placed exactly where I need them. Another favorite of mine is Printable Scenery's Rampage wall systems; they offer a high degree of customization since each piece is separate from the base, but their own clips have some limitations.\r\n\r\nI usually use OpenForge mag bases with clip-on attachments for my terrain, then add elements from Printable Scenery. Most of their components, including walls, are designed to be printed at -6.2mm on the Z-axis, which allows me to remove their included bases and attach them seamlessly to these bases. This setup has worked beautifully so far.\r\n\r\nThese clip bases are intentionally two-sided since I don't have high standards for external appearances. They're designed with a width of 0.5" / 12.7mm, which has been an effective choice in my experience. Kudos to mknower for designing the wider magnet system that can serve as a dividing wall between different scenery pieces; I've slightly widened these bases to ensure they fit perfectly with the Rampage system (again, printed at -6.2mm on the Z).\r\n\r\nJust like mknower's design, don't expect the clips to "click" into place; I'm still tweaking the ideal width for the clips, but rest assured that if a clip is necessary, it will hold securely and can be picked up from either side.\r\n\r\nCheers.
