OpenForge 2.0 Spiral Stair Down (ORIG) OpenLock Base
thingiverse
Spiral Staircase Down for OpenForge 2.0 and OpenLock, a roleplaying terrain feature/accessory designed to create an immersive experience. The first step is carefully crafted as a trip hazard, ensuring that players are fully engaged in the game world. OpenForge's thicker floors result in a slightly higher first tread, a deliberate design choice to evoke the feeling of descending stairs. To meet the requirements for OpenForge 2.0 and OpenLock 4.0 standards, xloud's original spiral staircase was modified to accommodate these specifications. The resulting accessory is designed to be flexible, allowing it to be placed in the middle of the floor or along a wall. This versatility makes it an ideal addition to any roleplaying terrain. The spiral staircase measures 25.4x50.8, making it an excellent fit for most gaming tables. For seamless integration with OpenForge and other terrain pieces, both 1" thick base walls A and B are included. While the DOWN aspect of the accessory prevents direct attachment from the front, it does allow for secure linking on the backside. To ensure a solid connection, an EA tile is recommended for attachment at the front. As this design has not been printed or verified for compatibility as of 02/16/17, users are advised to exercise caution when incorporating it into their gaming setups. Special thanks go to Printablescenery, Rampage, OpenLock 4.0, DevonJones, and xloud for their contributions to the world of tabletop gaming. A huge thank you goes out to xloud for sharing their original Spiral Stair design, which served as a valuable starting point for this accessory's creation.
