OpenForge 2.0 Rough Stone OpenLOCK Magnetic Base

OpenForge 2.0 Rough Stone OpenLOCK Magnetic Base

thingiverse

This is a set of Rough Stone bases that support both the OpenLOCK system and the OpenForge 2.0 magnetic system. Bases named magnetic.openforge give magnets priority when conflicts arise, while those named openlock.magnetic prioritize OpenLOCK instead. It's worth noting that OpenForge is designed on a 50 mm basis, whereas OpenLOCK operates on an inch basis. The difference on a 2x2 tile amounts to only 0.8 mm. These bases follow the inch basis, but standard OpenForge tiles work seamlessly on them. The size discrepancy is roughly equivalent to what you'd encounter from standard printing errors. If the disparity bothers you, simply scale your x and y coordinates by 1.016, and you'll be working on the inch scale for the tile as well. For guidance on getting started with OpenForge, we offer a series of tutorials. If you're interested in selling OpenForge prints or incorporating OpenForge designs into your products, please refer to our license FAQ. OpenForge has transitioned to a patron-supported project. I utilize resources provided by my patrons to fund the creation of more intricate tiles with increased detail. Support me, and I'll deliver an ongoing supply of exceptional gaming terrain.
