OpenForge 2.0 Rough Stone Floor
thingiverse
The start of a brand new set! Always gotta kick off with floors. This is the very first set in the battered and worn OpenForge 2.0 tile set! I'll be working on this set, releasing tiles for both OpenForge 2.0 and OpenLOCK at the same time. OpenLOCK requires extra work, so it's likely that the classic OpenForge 2.0 set will come out first, laying down the shapes, followed closely by the equivalent OpenLOCK set. The floor tiles in this set have a unique feature - they all fit into a specific pattern, or you can mix and match them freely. When I create the textures for the massive 6x6 floors, I'll make sure the pattern repeats infinitely. This release contains nine 2x2 floors, which cover every possible position that 2x2 tiles can take in this pattern. I highly recommend printing all of them to get a diverse range of floors. For instructions on how to get started with OpenForge, we have a set of tutorials available. Want to sell OpenForge prints? Want to use OpenForge designs in your product? Check out the license FAQ. OpenForge is now supported by patrons. I use the resources my patrons provide me to create more sophisticated tiles with greater detail. Please support me, and I'll deliver an ongoing stream of fantastic gaming terrain. You can find more about OpenForge and Masterwork Tools at our: Online catalog and backer site Website Forums (We mostly use Facebook now) Twitter Facebook Instructions: For each tile, print: A floor A base The tiles are based on inch squares (which matches most commercial printed tiles). If you want that size, print without changes, and print one of the inch bases. If instead you want 25mm squares (the historical scale of OpenForge), scale the floors on X and Y or walls on X, Y, and Z by 98.4% and print one of the 25mm bases. Finally, if you prefer wyloch style tiles (1.25" per square) scale the X and Y by 125%. Note: All bases for OpenForge Wall On Tile are kept in their own Thingiverse entry: OpenForge 2.0 Bases Other Rough/Ruined Tiles: You can find the rest of this set as it gets released in the OpenForge 2 Rough/Ruined Stone Collection Changelog: 2019/09/27 - Migrated to inch basis
