OpenForge 2.0 Magic Circle: Transmutation
myminifactory
One in a series of magic circles, complete with floor tiles that can be paired with any OpenForge 2.0 base and separate stone circles that can be placed anywhere. These tiles are designed to print upright, taking full advantage of the detail that's too small to capture well when printing flat. With most FDM printers featuring a smaller z-axis than nozzle size, placing tight detail on the z-axis is much easier. This magic circle design is inspired by an anime show called Fullmetal Alchemist, but it draws from real historical alchemy practices. The 2-inch diameter circles were created specifically to serve as arcane circle pieces for Frostgrave: Ulterior Motives. For step-by-step instructions on getting started with OpenForge, check out our tutorials. As a patron-supported project, I rely on the resources provided by my patrons to create more complex tiles with increased detail. Your support will enable me to deliver an ongoing stream of premium gaming terrain.
