OpenForge 2.0 Magic Circle: Transmutation
thingiverse
One in a series of intricate magic circles. These come with floor tiles that can be used with any OpenForge 2.0 base and separate stone circles that can be placed anywhere. These designs are specifically intended to print upright. The detail on them is too small to capture well if printing flat. Since the z-axis is generally smaller than the nozzle on most fdm printers, when you want tight detail, it's much easier to place that detail on the z-axis. This design appears to be a transmutation circle from an anime show called Fullmetal Alchemist, but it is based on something from historical alchemist practices. The 2" diameter circles were designed to work as arcane circle pieces for Frostgrave: Ulterior Motives. For instructions on how to get started with OpenForge, we have a set of tutorials. If you want to sell OpenForge prints or use OpenForge designs in your product, check out the license FAQ. OpenForge is now a patron supported project. I use the resources that my patrons give me to create more sophisticated tiles with a greater level of detail. Please support me and I’ll deliver an ongoing stream of awesome gaming terrain.
