OpenForge 2.0 Encounter: Fire Shrine
thingiverse
The latest addition to the encounters series is a shrine dedicated entirely to fire. This new release features both cut stone and rough stone versions, each with its unique characteristics. At the heart of this shrine lies the elemental symbol, inspired by the iconic symbols from Avatar: Last Airbender. The design team has carefully crafted every element to ensure a cohesive and immersive experience for players. In this latest update, we're excited to introduce several new features: * Walls adorned with the fire rune, adding an extra layer of depth to the environment * Floors featuring the same fire rune, creating a sense of continuity throughout the shrine * Pillars inscribed with the word "Fire" in runic futhark, paying homage to ancient traditions * A majestic gothic archway that serves as a striking focal point * An altar dedicated to fire, designed to accommodate Walmart LED votive candles To find the diagonal and curved pieces, you can visit the following resources: * Cut Stone: Diagonal Piece (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1450949), Curved Piece (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1456837), Straight Piece (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1641002) * Rough Stone: Diagonal Piece (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2478671), Curved Piece (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2437047), Straight Piece (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2275577) The flames on the altar are crafted using a hot glue gun, carefully applied after painting and candle insertion. The altar itself has a floor piece to secure it to the ground or can be used as scatter terrain. The runes on the base of the altar proudly display the word "fire" in elder futhark.
