OpenForge 2.0 Dynamic Floor Bases
thingiverse
This is a set of bases for dynamic floors. You can read more about the purpose of dynamic floors on the thing for Runic Futhark, where I include instructions for how to use them and what they are for. All these bases require 3/16" x 1/6" cylindrical magnets. Those are used to hold the floor faces to the base, which is how the dynamic floors have swappable surfaces. These are the bases that are used for dynamic floors. They come in two sizes: * Inch basis (to work with OpenLOCK, Dragonlock) * 25mm basis (to work with Dwarven Forge) Select the size, and then select a connector. We have: * Magnetic * Magnetic + OpenLOCK * OpenLOCK For magnetic connectors, you will also need to print base covers to hold the magnets in. This system depends on 5mm spherical magnets. To make assembly easier, I suggest you take existing magnetic tiles, and put them under these as you add in the magnets. This will hold the magnets down until you can glue the base cover on. For instructions on how to get started with OpenForge, we have a set of tutorials. Want to sell OpenForge prints? Want to use OpenForge designs in your product, check out the license FAQ. OpenForge is now a patron supported project. I use the resources that my patrons give me in order to get the resources to let me create more sophisticated tiles with a greater level of detail. Please, support me, and I’ll deliver an ongoing stream of awesome gaming terrain.
