OpenForge 2.0 Cut Stone Wall

OpenForge 2.0 I'm thrilled to introduce OpenForge 2.0, the latest iteration of my popular tile series. I've made significant tweaks to enhance the overall experience and make it more enjoyable for creators like you. Here's what's new: * Tiles now come with an optional base that can be easily swapped out or removed. The default base features standard 5mm neodymium magnets, allowing for quick setup and easy connection. You can also design your own custom bases as long as they fit within the specified dimensions (6 mm tall, 25 mm x 25 mm per space). I'll include a default base with each tile release. If you prefer not to use an attachable base, full tiles with bases attached are available for download in the *.full_base.stl format. Alternatively, you can print OpenForge tiles without a base at all – they now require less filament material! The wall texture has been refined to eliminate any awkward breaks near the base. As I create new tiles, I'm extending the texture down to the attachment point, ensuring a seamless look. I've reworked "edge" tiles to be more versatile and compatible with various tile sets, including Dwarven Forge and Hirst Arts. These external tiles are now easier to work with, featuring half-tile width walls that prevent odd gaps when building scenes. With these updates, OpenForge can tackle multi-story buildings and permanent structures like inns or taverns – perfect for your players' home bases! As a patron-supported project, I rely on contributions from my patrons to create more sophisticated tiles with greater detail. By supporting me, you'll receive an ongoing stream of awesome gaming terrain. Post-Printing Changelog: * 3/21/16: Some bases updated (2x3, 2x4, 3x2, 3x3, 3x4, 4x2, 4x3, 4x4). Rivet holes were not extending through to the other side on larger bases. Custom Section Changelog: * 3/21/16: Some bases updated (2x3, 2x4, 3x2, 3x3, 3x4, 4x2, 4x3, 4x4). Rivet holes were not extending through to the other side on larger bases. Custom Section Changelog: * 3/24/2016: 3x3 and 3x4 tiles updated. Both files showed up with errors in netfabb.
