OpenForge 2.0 Building this set, I discovered a fresh advantage of the external tile set over the former edge tiles. The 0.5 versions of the tile can be attached independently from other parts on the cut stone base. I've included some examples of how you can use this to create doorways for halls, but I expect this approach in the future will make external tiles incredibly flexible for building all kinds of tile combinations. Want a corner with a door on one side and a window on the other? This approach means we can do that. I've included below some examples of me using this technique. You can also, of course, print the door tiles in a full range of sizes like normal. Don't forget that if you want to have the door open the other direction, just print it mirrored on the x axis. Also I noticed when I had these settings next to each other in my painting station before I added doors, lining these up next to each other with no door makes for a fairly nice colonnade. OpenForge is now a patron supported project. I use the resources that my patrons give me in order to get the resources to let me create more sophisticated tiles with a greater level of detail. My gut is that most hallways have doors that open out, so I position the doorway piece so that the hinge opens out. Two rounded doors from this set. You can also just use a normal doorway tile with a wall tile to add a door for a corridor if you don't mind showing that there is at least some squares behind the door. Changelog 7/27/2016 - Fixed all 4x tiles. They were missing the pin holes for the hinge.
