After unveiling the external doorway last week, I realized its potential could be leveraged to resemble a colonnade. That epiphany sparked my desire to create a genuine colonnade set, allowing players to add sophistication to cities, wonder to cathedrals, or visual interest to ruins or dungeons. To get started with OpenForge, our tutorials provide step-by-step guidance. If you're interested in selling OpenForge prints or incorporating their designs into your products, please consult our license FAQ. As a patron-supported project, OpenForge relies on community support to fund its continued development. The resources provided by my patrons enable me to create more intricate tiles with enhanced detail. Your backing will ensure an uninterrupted stream of exceptional gaming terrain. Assembly The arches feature holes in their sides, bottoms, and tops, while columns have holes at their tops and full capitals. These openings are designed for 1.75mm filament, but you may need to drill them out lightly using a pin vise to clear any excess plastic. This ensures the colonnade remains intact on the gaming table. Only arch bases with suitable hole sizes are found at the corners and middle of 3x and 4x arches. I strongly advise using 4x arches whenever possible, reserving smaller ones for areas where they're essential to maintain structural integrity. Attaching the colonnade to columns in multiple places ensures stability; I recommend securing it at least two points per section to achieve reasonable stability.
