Recently I stumbled upon Barefoot Buttons, a guitar pedal footswitch cover that lets you play dirty hippie and engage pedals while being (ob)noxiously barefoot. Even better, if you're a synthesist, especially of a modular synth variety, or a Merzbow clone, you can use pedals on a desktop with your hands to engage them, which can be stressful depending on the type of footswitch and tenderness of your precious palms. So, I created an open source variation on the theme of the barefoot button cover. This is version 0.3, where the footswitch insert is modeled after Strymon pedal (yes, I'm fancy) footswitches, meaning the hole diameter is 11mm, but a simple dremel therapy will make it snug for bigger diameter switches. Made with Tinkercad. Edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/bSYRpcwXfXf
