OpenFlywheelProject Rayven Cage
thingiverse
This is an open-source flywheel cage engineered specifically for the Nerf Rayven. It has undergone rigorous testing on both platforms. Four distinct versions of this cage poster are available here, with the highest performance achieved by printing the 41.5 mm cage. Each larger cage exhibits decreasing performance correlated to the gap distance listed in the file name. To optimize high-crush systems such as the 41.5 mm and 42 mm cages, motors with exceptionally high torque ratings are essential. Print Settings: * Printer Brand: MakerBot * Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 * Rafts: Doesn't Matter * Supports: Doesn't Matter * Resolution: 0.2 mm * Infill: 20 Notes: You can utilize rafts if desired, but this will necessitate considerable post-processing efforts. This design can be printed in PLA, yet due to the intense heat generated by the motors, it is advisable to print in ABS or PETG instead. Open Flywheel Project products are not toys.
