OpenFlywheelProject Rapidstrike/Stryfe Flywheel Cage
thingiverse
This is an open-source flywheel cage engineered specifically for the Nerf Rapidstrike and Nerf Stryfe. It has been rigorously tested on both models. There are four versions of this cage available here, with the highest performance achieved by printing the 41.5 mm cage. Each larger cage exhibits decreasing performance due to the gap distance listed in the file name. For high-crush systems like the 41.5 mm and 42 mm cages, motors with extremely high torque ratings are required. This can be printed in PLA, although due to the high heat generated by the motors, it's best to print in ABS or PETG. How I Designed This Primarily designed in SolidWorks.
