Recently we got new tank caps on the water and fuel tanks of the boat. They are sometimes hard to open and people tended to use pliers on them, which is not recommended.This tool allows for easy opening of the caps. It is designed in a way that prevents this tool from being used to close the cap (as opposed to pliers). So the cap can only be closed by hand - as recommended. This tool grips the small lever that folds out of the cap and also has a "hook" that grips into the slot.The benefits of this tool:facilitates opening of the capdoes not scratch the capdoes not allow for tightening the cap (prevents over-tightening) it floats on water, if dropped over boardPrinted in PETG with 15% infill. Only the “hook” is printed with 8 perimeters to give it more strength as it is transferring the rotational force from your hand to the cap.
