These modified Openbuilds designs allow for simplified direct solid modeling by utilizing the SAT file format, along with STL mesh models for added convenience. To facilitate easier prototyping, I have eliminated the central notch to enable effortless centering, and also adjusted the middle channel wall by 0.1mm to simplify alignment and ensure a flush fit of 7mm on the surface. Please note that these changes may impact their suitability for subtractive modeling of printed end pieces or slides, etc., if utilized in place of original extrusions. I use these modified designs for initial prototyping purposes, after which I replace them with more detailed models to create the final product.
