OpenBuilds ACRO Laser system - Panels
thingiverse
The components and assemblies are designed for the Openbuilds Acro Laser System, a CNC controlled laser engraver diode module ideal for 3D printing, laser cutting or CNC cutting panels. Although incomplete, the basic frame parts are simple to understand; additional components required include three NEMA 17 motors, GT2 open belt, nuts and bolts, Arduino unit with GRBL, twelve V-slot wheels, two 2020 V-slot extrusions for a cross brace, and two 2040 beams for the Y-axis. Further requirements include one 2040 beam for the X-axis, laser module, four 2020 corner brackets, among other components. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate the necessary Solidworks files to modify the parts according to my needs, so I translated them from Sketchup to STL format. Full credit is given to the OpenBuilds team; I merely converted and refined the file formats and parts as best possible for my purposes. Some minor dimensional discrepancies may exist due to material shrinkage during 3D printing, amounting to approximately 0.1-0.2 or one mm.
