A custom clip enables the integration of a dual MAX7219 based 16x8 display, widely available on eBay in configurations ranging from one to eight modules lined up in series, which can be easily disconnected at each individual module. I'm utilizing this device to display the SD card print percentage. To accomplish this, I've modified the Marlin firmware slightly by adding custom code to handle the display's functionality, including printing numbers and symbols. The design of the clip is engineered to seamlessly fit into an openbeam frame and securely hold the display module in place.
