I've been dedicated to enhancing the Open Z v16c's racing capabilities. The original OpenZ v16c was created by Guaro3d, but I'm unable to link his work due to some unknown reason within this site's remix feature. You can find the Facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/209094766350376 The original steering pinion features a completely vertical slot that tends to bind and is also shorter than desired. To address these issues, I've extended it taller, modified the slot into a trapezoid shape, and reinforced the top. Additionally, I made some changes to the baseplate so it can fit without requiring sanding or modification. The Left hub and Right hub have been subtly strengthened at their top screw holes in an effort to prevent them from breaking when hitting walls. Notably, this design utilizes the stock servo arm with a screw inserted into the third hole and the servo arm reduced in size. A picture is included for reference.
