When conversing with fellow hams here in New Zealand, I discovered that a vast majority of them utilize old analogue TV yagis from neighboring houses to create their own Yagi antennas. The old ones were designed for the 10-meter band and up, resulting in a significant amount of aluminum tubing available for use. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate any local sources, so I decided to fabricate some parts that could be easily printed by anyone. To utilize this design, you will need the following components: - 19mm OD x 1.2mm thick aluminium square tube - 10mm OD x 9mm ID aluminium round tube - As many "OpenEleV1" elements as required - 85mm of 22mm PVC conduit - Two 2x Choke.stl components - Two M6-1/4" machine washers - Eight M6-1/4" 35mm screws - Eight M6-1/4" 50mm screws Specific parts for the Yagi design can be found at the following link: https://www.qsl.net/dk7zb/Duoband/duoband_2-70_2-3.htm Note that the OpenEleV1.stl component can accommodate three screws, but only one is necessary for the reflector at the back. However, due to the large size of the element in this design, I chose to include all three screws. In contrast, smaller reflectors can be secured with just one screw, as shown in the accompanying photos.
