The open-source multipurpose hexagonal grid wargaming terrain project is officially back with a fresh upgrade. Original project creator Garagebay9 takes credit for the groundbreaking concept and design. Note that any GB9 OFA files are reuploaded after a DMCA notice was issued. This file pack includes: * The original Open Warhex Project by Garagebay9 * Open Warhex: Baseplates by Garagebay9 * Open Warhex Boosterpack 1 for Mechanized Combat by SniperTeamTango * Open Warhex Boosterpack 2 for Mechanized Combat by SniperTeamTango * Open Warhex Boosterpack 3 for Mechanized Combat by SniperTeamTango (new) The file pack features a range of terrain elements, including: * Baseplates and hills from the original project * Two distinct water systems with three and five elevation levels respectively * Four types of trees: light woods, heavy woods, and jungle * Several "effects" such as rough, smoke, rubble, fire, etc. * Bridge detailing Additionally, two structure systems are included: * One optimized for SLA printing, featuring a sleek and minimalist design * Another (R2) designed for heavy use, supporting weight and increased durability. This system boasts: + Hex geometry compatible bases + Corners that can accept wall sections at 12 different angles simultaneously + Multiple lengths of walls in three different elevations and connecting pieces where necessary + Roof and bridge sections that result in hex geometry for added features + R3: Heavy-duty bridge starters for the R2 system, with improved weight and stress support by up to 30% + R3: Corner rounders for the R2 structure base A modified module ring is also included, designed to fit inside the original hill files by Garagebay without modifying them. This feature provides the snap-fit tolerance that fans have come to expect from the system. Furthermore, a gluing jig assembly is provided, compliant with gluing module rings to the bottoms of existing hill parts for a stable and secure setup. The final addition is an updated variation of the module ring, producing a flat with 1.75" hex holes perfect for installing on the bottom of your favorite 3D terrain. This project is fully compatible with other 3D terrain for 6mm wargames. This project was completed in Solidworks and Catia 2016, and original files are available for modification upon request. Any fitment issues should be reported for further updates.
