Since Open WarHex by GarageBay9 has an unusual format (something measured in decimal inches), it is imported into Cura in a very small size. To get this up to Classic BattleTech size (where a hex field is 1.25"/33mm from flat to flat), you need to scale it a whopping 1,885 percent. Additionally, the original files were missing other Water hexes than 1-hex baseplates, so I created 2-hex, 3-hex, 4-hex, and 7-hex water baseplates in Depth 3 size using TinkerCAD (my skills only go so far). Also, since I had the idea to build a game table entirely out of Depth 3 baseplates and place Terrain plates on top of them, I needed to create a terrain plate that would hold the 7-hex baseplates together. For this, I created two three-hex terrain baseplates. I have confirmed that they do indeed work, and once I have printed enough of them, I will post a photo. In the future, I may create more hex plates as needed, so I tagged this project as ongoing.
