Open Storage System

thingiverse

The modular storage connectors are the first part of the Open Storage System. With these and extruded aluminum, you can build a modular storage system using commonly available organizers without being restricted to a specific brand or company. This design has been tested for over a year with PLA and ABS parts in active use in an educational environment and has been through multiple interactions. In the files, you will find both the connectors and the jigs to ensure quick assembly and accurate spacing. Instructable is coming in the near future to show the full build process. Required parts: 2020 extruded aluminum 16mm M4 cap screws (1 per connector) M4 nut for 20 series extruded aluminum (1 per connector) M5 or M6 button head cap screws (depending on the extruded aluminum manufacturer)
