Open Sourcing the original Stampede Project SPV2 and new SPV4 Chassis.Do you want a print and go competitive crawler chassis for the RedCat Racing Everest 10 that:Requires NO MODIFICATIONS to the Everest 10 shocks or springsDelivers a competition level Capra style crossing linksLower stance without shorter or modified shocks.Anti-squatAnti-dive adjustability. This is it. Print and Screw togetherBuy an assorted box of 3MM screws lengths 3-25mm in lengh plus 4- 3MMx40mm screws from Amazon and you are ready to build a crawler.Donor - RedCat Racing Everest 10 about $180All factory Everest 10 parts were designed to work as shown.Includes:TVP ChassisESC MountRX MountBattery MountCross SupportsCapra Style Cross link conversion skid-plateThe Story -Back shortly after the original Axial AX10 in 2007 was released we all started trying to make it better. I am a problem solver and the one thing I kept seeing was everyone attempting to work around an extreme lack of adjustment on the AX10 chassis and also deliver a simplistic design that would comply with the RC Crawler competition regulations regarding body size. Frankly this designs raised a huge amount of eyebrows and had a lot of competitors crying fowl that it offered such a competitive advantage to not require a body. Twin Vertical Plates - TVPs were not new, but all required bodies, my design was the first to offer a bodiless TVP... of course the Chinese companies knocked this offer within weeks of me working with Fast Lane Machine and offering if for sale. This SPV 4 version is designed to cover some of the gaps we saw with the original design including crossed links, and a lot more shock clearance plus more anti-squat, and anti-dive adjustment. This original design had a lot of input from my contacts and top minds in the crawling industry including FLM, Holmes Hobbies, and Bender from Axial and a lot of top competitors ran the chassis. The Aluminum FLM chassis picture shown.I am now open sourcing this for several reasons:The freaking Chinese knockoff company of my design is still selling it for $60 which frankly ticks me off.The epically affordable RedCat Racing Everest 10 is almost exactly the same and shares parts with the now out of production Axial AX10 chassis. It also has all the same tuning complaints we had in 2007.I want new RC Crawler folks to have fun and enjoy RC and frankly the Redcat Everest 10 at $180 shipped complete with battery and charger is the so cheap you canno
