Open Source Syringe Pump (Remix)
thingiverse
I am building a remix of the open source syringe pump, available at http://www.appropedia.org/Open-source_syringe_pump. I have left end_motor.stl, blade.stl and carriage_w_escape_v2.stl unchanged from the originals, including them only for completeness. This variant is designed to accommodate 3ml and 1ml standard disposable syringes, reducing overall length for a precise fit to these two sizes. Additionally, I have reduced the clamps in thickness so that the syringes can be fully activated. As a result, the following parts must be replaced from the original list: * 4x M3x35 instead of M3x40 for the idler end * 2x 160mm 6mm diameter tool steel rods (shortened) * 1x 150mm M5 threaded rod (shortened) If you need to switch between 1ml and 3ml syringes, you will have to swap in the corresponding retainer. Since I won't be doing this frequently, I opted for a solution that is more stable and convenient. I am also using the Lynch pusher block with a removable blade. M3 holes for attaching to a base plate were added to the idler end (to be used in combination with motor_attachment_NT.stl placed next to the motor mount). The M3 hole spacing is 20mm both front and back. My sincere thanks go out to the original authors for their outstanding work!
