I redesigned a base to elevate the arm, install power switches, and hold extra power circuits. The through holes accommodate a standard 3/4" hole switch. I specified part# 275-0693. Furthermore, I modified the electronics mounting board to accept the SSC-32U from lynxmotion.com. A change was made to a connecting rod on 01/25/2015. It had been lengthened from 156MM to 157MM. Additionally, two new files were created for extension legs. This Arm design is excellent but required adjustments to connect my Robo Gripper. A standard size servo connection to the arm and replaceable bushings instead of a printed complete piece was desired. I opted for a bushing in place of a metal bearing on the turret. Further changes will be made as issues arise. The necessary files for this Arm are located at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:480446. Assistance in assembling the Arm can be found at http://thejamerson.com/uarm/. This site provides detailed images showing how each part fits together, minus my modifications. A great Robo Gripper design was utilized (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:620487). Custom mod grippers were added to the Robo Gripper from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:621809). If questions arise, feel free to ask, and I'll provide assistance to the best of my ability.
