Human: A wideband corrugated horn antenna engineered for 802.11a-ac frequencies. The design of the corrugated horn section was created by SabinKarki and adapted for a 2-6 GHz application. The ridged antenna and waveguide were built according to Vegard Midtbøen's Master thesis machine drawings[1]. The project includes STL files of the individual parts, along with a FreeCAD file that serves as a basis for generating STL files. The upper waveguide features a 1mm gap for an SMA-waveguide adapter described in [1]. This antenna is intended for testing systems in 802.11a-ac frequencies and lacks a metallic finish necessary for proper operation. Its operating characteristics have not been measured. This project was part of coursework for the Spring 2018 ELEC-L3999: 3D Printing of Open Source Hardware for Science course at Aalto University, Espoo.
