Minimalist and elegant design with a unique, tamper-proof structure is the focus of this design. The intention was to create something different from screws for attaching cover plates, so metal clips were used instead. Service technicians will use a special magnet tool to unclip these clips, making it easy to remove the cover plate. The designs provided are ready for molding and have considered drafts and environmental factors. The design features a 0.07-inch main wall thickness on the bottom half and a 0.065-inch cover, durable rubber weather protection guard, and vandal-resistant clips that can only be accessed through specific holes. The minimalist and industrial aesthetic is maintained throughout the design. Manufacturing simplicity is prioritized with no glass, touch LED panels, or overmolding. Two plastic halves can be made using a simple two-part pull mold, reducing cost. Off-the-shelf parts are used for the keyboard module, lenses, and LEDs. Dimensions are 6"L x 3.15"W x 1.25"H. The required files are provided in various formats, and tweaks may be needed for FDM printing.
