Open Rocker Switch
thingiverse
The DIY Ruler Switch is a self-help assistive switch. The device features two separate switches that are triggered by pressing on either side. Each activation surface measures about 58 mm in diameter. With the specified 12 mm tactile switches, the activation force comes out to be around 1.3N (130 gf). This switch boasts a similar size and activation force as the discontinued Rocker Switch from AbleNet.\r\n\r\nThis switch uses a 3.5 mm stereo cable to transmit switch signals. An adapter can be used to connect one 3.5 mm stereo jack to two 3.5 mm mono jacks. The design could also be adapted to use two separate 3.5 mm mono cables.\r\n\r\nMore details are available at the MMC Open-Source Assistive Technology library project page:\r\nhttps://www.makersmakingchange.com/project/diy-ruler-switch/
