Scale parts up by 10x. This remotely operated vehicle (ROV) boasts a frame measuring 4.5"x4.5"x6.25". Two and a half years of design and testing went into creating this ROV, which was originally designed to compete in the 2018 SeaPerch International competition. Don't view this as just a competition robot; it's an open platform with the potential to be adapted for various applications. I'd like to highlight these key features: ~A large amount of mounting space is available. ~The lightweight frame makes it easy to operate. ~The design provides stable, even balance for smooth operation. ~Built-in tolerances ensure parts fit together seamlessly. ~Minimal support is required. For your convenience, I've included a set of drawings (.pdf) and a zipped file of all inventor files to allow users to modify and create parts (.rar). STEP files are available upon request. The 6th picture showcases examples of modified parts, including a hook and stators. I've attached a copy of my engineering notebook, which outlines the design process and original sketches. A complete electronic parts list is coming soon. This design was further refined by incorporating AI to reduce weight and increase strength, as seen in my V4.2. I highly recommend checking it out.
