Open PC Frame 1 (OPF-1)
thingiverse
I wanted all my ports on one side and a minimal number of fans. This is printed with Atomic filament Carbon fiber PETG on a Railcore. 0.2mm layer height, 2 perimeter 25% infill, 5 bottom 7 top layer. The 1.7kg frame has to hold 12-14kg of components. Do not use PLA as it will soften at 60C. Regular PETG is fine. You need a 30x30cm print bed, 6-32 and M3 screws and M3 Heat Set Inserts. The three back panels are glued and the rest is screwed together. The MB sits on 5.5 mm spacers. Broke Center 3 into two parts for easier printing. Updated front and back panels Parts are not oriented for printing. Updated with files to use a 3D printed I/O panel. Frame 1 V3, Frame 2A V3, Frame 2B V3, Front PCI 1 and PCI 2. Glue the two I/O panel parts together with cyanoacrylate and some kicker. For air cooled graphic cards I would stick with the Al I/O Panel. Made for Asus Maximus XII Extreme. Also put in an MSI X99A GAMING PRO CARBON and water cooled SLI 1080s.
