Early this morning, I wanted to work on something new, but my mind was a blank slate. So, I let the day drift away, and before I knew it, Friday had arrived, bringing with it a comedy show on TV that was just too entertaining to resist. My mom was cooking up a storm in the kitchen, preparing a delicious stuffed cabbage dish for us, but she was struggling to carry the heavy pot due to her health issues. I decided to lend a hand and assist her whenever needed. As dinner time drew near, something suddenly clicked, and an idea struck me like lightning. As they say in Egypt, "every delay brings good things," so I jotted down my thoughts on paper and spent some quality time sipping tea while working on my latest creations. Before long, two fantastic helmets emerged from my computer screen, and I'm excited to share one of them with you today. But here's the thing - I stumbled upon a designer who creates high-poly count products that blow me away, yet I was able to produce something equally impressive using lower poly counts. This realization made me appreciate the value of quality over quantity. It just goes to show that even when working with limited resources, we can still create amazing things. I've also been following a product I uploaded earlier that received some negative feedback from Facebook users, despite receiving praise from someone who's not as skilled as me. But hey, if something has a use, then it can't be all bad, right? One story that comes to mind is about an artist who created a masterpiece and put it out in the street with a note inviting people to mark any mistakes they found. The next day, he returned to find his artwork covered in red circles indicating errors, leaving him feeling shocked and disappointed. His wife reassured him not to be sad, suggesting that he simply recreate the piece with new challenges. And so, he did - this time inviting viewers to fix any mistakes they found. When he checked again the next day, everything remained untouched. It was then that his wife shared a valuable lesson: while many people can point out errors in others' work, it's those who can fix them who are truly rare. So, when I created a lower-quality product and upgraded it to a higher one, I kept the original version intact, just in case someone might find use for it. And guess what? Someone did! It just goes to show that even what we consider useless can sometimes be turned into something valuable. As long as people don't have good reason to complain, we should ignore their negativity and focus on creating something worthwhile. After all, our work is a reflection of our skills and talents, and with every challenge comes an opportunity to learn and grow. I know some folks might say my lower-quality products are subpar, but I believe that's where the real value lies - in embracing imperfections and learning from them. And who knows? Maybe someday someone will come along and create something even better using those same imperfect products as a starting point. The possibilities are endless!
