To prevent my garage door from slamming due to wind, I devised a simple solution without using an automatic hook mechanism. Instead, I utilized the deadlatch feature which requires turning the knob to engage or disengage. This proved effective and easily implemented. Printing at .41 speed provided satisfactory results and using a fan for the upright section is optional. Feel free to adapt this idea as needed.
