I designed a more efficient way to attach my unit, considering a PEX solution with light barrier. So far, it's working incredibly smoothly, and if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. To make installation easier, I chamfered the inside entry of the PEX tubing. This modification works perfectly for 9mm ammunition and should also be suitable for 308 caliber; I'm planning to create an adapter for 223 later on. Here's a list of necessary components: 1. One M5 screw and nut (I used 20mm long ones) 2. One M3 screw for adjusting the bucket angle (or use mount holder spacers, with 30-degree spacers being my preferred choice) 3. Various miscellaneous screws Now, let's move on to the assembly instructions. First, attach the frame mount using the following components: 1. Buck mount 2. Frame mount 3. Mount holder spacer (either 25 or 30 degrees) Next, set up the PEX drop system as follows: 1. Connect a PEX cone to the bucket. 2. Use 1/2" PEX tubing. 3. Choose one of three options for mounting to the Hornady bullet feeder: vertical, vertical with light barrier, or angled. Optionally, you can install a light barrier on the PEX line using a PEX light barrier. I opted for the angled setup because it works best with my frame mount configuration. I also added a view window, allowing me to insert an Allen key and temporarily stop the bullet flow during maintenance.
