Open 3D Fountain pen

------EDIT January 23rd 2017-------- Added cap with roll stop and improved esthetics. Sometimes I started trying to print a fountain pen for myself, but then one member contacted me after printing my first pen on Fountain Pen Network Forum to create a design we could release on Thingiverse. Design done using OpenSCAD. All threads are completed in printing without needing extra tools. The nib unit is a Jowo #6, which can be sourced widely and goes inside the part called section. Here it is - the pen is just over 14cm long and 13.5mm in diameter. Have fun. Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm layer height, 0.4mm nozzle Infill: 15% Notes: Print on a Prusa I3 MK2 at 40mm/s or less to maximize the external aspect. Sliced with Simplify3D. You need to print the "section" file rotated by 180 degrees on the X axis. Post-Printing If the print quality isn't good enough, try reducing the speed. You can also post-process the pen with some varnish or a resin coating like epoxy. How I Designed This I used OpenSCAD and Notepad++ to design this fountain pen. It took me a lot of time, but it was worth it. Custom Section Big thanks to Bigbunny88 from Fountain Pen Network for the design and help.
