Opel Maultier Half Track Sd.Kfz. 3 "Mule" - 28mm

This 28mm model showcases the German Opel Maultier half track in all its glory. I had initially loaded the radio/command post version of this vehicle, but it was a request from a follower that prompted me to revisit and re-release it, with one condition: I would not print any more copies since I didn't have a personal use for them. A recent ask for a cargo version led me to dive back into the file. To simplify the printing process, I flattened the bottom of the model and split the front axle into a separate piece that fits snugly into recesses on the underside. The tracks now feature recesses that align perfectly with nubs on the lower chassis, ensuring seamless assembly. The removable cargo cover is a game-changer; it has nubs to hold it in place without requiring any glue, making it easy to attach and detach as needed. This model was printed by me specifically for a club-mate, so it remains unpainted in its original form. Please note that supports are necessary due to the significant overhang present in this design, which can make printing challenging if not properly managed.
