Oogie Boogie Head - remix
thingiverse
This is still a work in progress. I wanted an Ooogie Boogie costume this year and needed a base to tie burlap over for the mask. This isn't the full head - I cut off quite a bit of the top and back since I can use burlap and extra fluff material for the curved part above the head. Just remember, black yarn and burlap string tie around the printed mask to form the shape. I am printing it bigger than full on my Taz5 but it may need to be scaled up depending on head size. This is just the front 50%. I made it mostly hollow. Since this will be under the burlap hood, it doesn't need to be pretty - just hold the shape. The uploaded size fits my 9-year-old daughter so she sees out of the eyes but not me with a giant head. I used a coat hanger for the curve of the pointy head. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 6% Notes: I used custom supports in Simplify3d only on the mouth. Printer has an E3D Titan extruder with an E3D V6 hotend @ 0.4mm.
