OO/HO FLEXITRACK CURVE FORMER

pinshape

Summary For anyone laying Flexible track, this setup makes the job remarkably easy and produces smooth curves. This system differs from my previous upload, featuring a base plate to which three stirrups are attached. Math enthusiasts can calculate the curve's radius using the chord of 200mm and the centre stirrup's offset amount. Once secured in place, the setup glides smoothly along the track, creating a seamless curve. I have two sets of these systems. The DXF file is included for those with laser cutters to cut out the plate from perspex or similar materials, or STL files can be used to 3D print one. Post-Printing CLEANING STIRRUPS The stirrups that fit over the track have an M4 thread and will require a tap to be inserted through them, while the slots need a needle file to be put through them.
