This is another essential tool for laying track, whether it's set or flexible track makes the job incredibly easy to get those tracks parallel. It uses the same stirrups as with the curve former. Once locked in place, they can simply slide along the tracks. I have four of these tools in my collection. The scales are engraved on the bottom of the perspex, in both inches and metric measurements. You'll need to download the DXF and Inkscape SVG files from Thingiverse as Pinshape won't allow these file types. If you have a laser cutter or engraver, you can use it to cut out the plate from perspex or another material, or you can use the STL file to print one out. The lines in the SVG file are very fine, measuring only 0.01mm thick. This makes them potentially invisible, but is ideal for laser engraving.
