Model based on “Onigiri Maker / Press” Design by Chriz1987. I have tried the Onigiri Maker prints from Chriz1987 and found few Improvement ideas that I have implemented in my design (after discussing with Chriz):- no glue, just screw in connections.- cutout form for Nori - additional handles. Most useful upgrade is the Cutout form for cutting nori and using it as sticking prevention (see instructions)Screw size is optimized for my filaments/printer. Print at least one out with your filament and adjust accordingly if required (+-0,1mm horizontal expansion aka XY Size Compensation).Material: PETG (best clear) or other food approved materialsMy simple recipe:1. Wash rice. 2. Bring rice to a boil with 1:1,3 (volume ratio) water, stir and let it cook, covered, on lowest setting for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let it rest for another 15 minutes. Let it cool.3. Mix rice vinegar, mirin, salt and sugar in a pot, let it cool, spread over rice. (Volume ratio - 9:3:1:2) 4. Mix the shredded nori leftovers (optionally sesame or spice mixtures) with the rice. Make Onigiris following instruction50ml rice is enough for one Onigiri.
