!OBLIGATORY WARNING! Use this at your own risk. This model has been tested on my own Pint however I cannot guarentee this will be rugged enough to sustain your own use case. Printing in materials that do not deform at low temps or delaminate/wear easilly are recommended. PLA may soften too much under extensive usage and warmer climates or shatter on impact which will risk damage to the batteries inside. Although I have done my best to make this watertight it is up to you to make sure all gaps are filled. Still A WIP so any suggestions or fixes are strongly encouraged :) This model is primarilly desinged for expanding a Pint's battery capacity to that of a PintX or more (if you're capable of pulling that off). Using a Onewheel Pint and some stock PintX bumpers I've modelled this and managed to assemble the board with it. I cannot say for certain it is 100% accurate to a PintX since I do not own one but since they're practically the same it should work for a PintX too. Unfortunately this model does require extensive supports. One recommendation for this would be to try block some support material from being generated in the bumper rail channels near the base. Allowing full support inside makes removal and cleanup later tedious. Plenty of sanding will need to be done in those channels to allow the bumpers to slide in and out smoothly. If not they will be extremely tight and stiff. A metal file should make quick work of this. To clean up and properly form the threads for the cable harness you'll want to use an M20 x 1.5mm Tap. Creating accurate and printable threads in this orientation just isn't possible so the ones present are just to help guide the tap. A hole has been left where the vent cover would normally go. If you're able to get the surface smooth enough you'll be able to use a replacement vent like those sold by Badgerwheel. For the charge port you can carefully swap your existing one over to this by using this printable tool to gently undo the port from the nut. I cannot stress this enough, I do not recommend using weak plastics to print this. They'll wear through quickly and risk damage to the battery. This model is provided as is to assist the DIY community advance the possibilities and expand on my work. Version history: MK1 (unreleased) - Intitial full modification of standard Pint housing to work with PintX bumpers. MK2 (unreleased) - Moved charge port slightly to align with rail better. MK3 (Release version) - Thickened the base and altered internal text. MK4 - Modified firewall to give more space for battery wiring to reach the BMS.
