Onewheel Pint Touch Fender

This is a split fender design with the fenders made very short. I like to ride with my feet very close to the wheel so I designed these so I could easily find the edge of the platform nearest the wheel without having to look down or actually touch the wheel.Print SettingsPrinter Brand:Prusa Printer: I3 MK3SRafts: No Supports: NoResolution: 200 Infill: 20% GyroidFilament:MatterHacker PETG  Notes: It takes a lot of force to snap the fenders in place. Push the fender through from the bottom then start from one end and pressing down with force while pressing out on the base.  Work your way across to the other end.  The last photo shows what install looks like about midway through.Make sure you snap the fenders into the correct base plates and the side rails on the correct side - no two printed parts are the same but can snap together in the wrong arrangement. Use your original fender plate as a guide.There is no clearance added for the parts so your printer must be properly tuned or it will not snap together well so I recommend printing the test part STL I provided first to make sure you can snap the joint together before spending the time and filament on the full prints.You only need to print one set of fenders (BaseAll+Fenders or BaseAll+FendersTall)There are holes to accommodate eight m4x12 socket head machine screws. I added them before I discovered just how hard it was to insert/remove the fenders but they might become more important if I update the model to make assembly easier.   Category: Outdoor & Garden
