Onewheel Pint FM Motor Connector

Onewheel Pint FM Motor Connector

This is the Future Motion custom connector that exists on the Onewheel Pint. It is used to connect to the HyperCore hub for 3 phase, hall sensors, and temperature detection. The intended purpose of this design is to create a substitute for the proprietary connector used on the controller housing. It will connect properly to the motor end if printed accurately. Try to use a 0.4mm nozzle or lower for extra wall numbers and higher accuracy on the holes. To build the connector use the two products listed below on amazon, if your printer's profiles are tunes alright the various pins should be able to be press-fit into the holes. However, if they are too tight you can use heat to melt the pins in place. I recommend accomplishing the desired perfect accuracy since the print is not very large. Once you have all of your inserts in place the model is designed with a large funnel on the bottom to allow glues or epoxies to seep into place and create a nice strong plug securing all of the wires. The connector is designed with a coarser thread than the original FM part, this is in order to accept a custom nut for the connector since the original FM threads are too small to print reliably and with enough strength. 2mm Bullet Connectors: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MDKUUGL/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_GNN8CMR5KE214GNYXP98 40mm Pin Headers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076DTWB92?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
